This week we will be screening the Brazilian movie “City of God”. A wonderful and shocking film that will take us into the heartbreaking reality of children in the Favellas of Brazil.

We will follow the lives of 2 kids. One becomes a photographer, the other a drug dealer. A story that sadly repeats itself in the major cities of Latin America and it’s still one of the biggest issues that keep the region on top of the violence rankings worldwide.

Join us to watch and discuss this Latin American masterpiece and turn this Thursday evening into much more than another Thursday night.

The space can be a little cool in the evening, so feel free to make yourself comfy and bring a blanket!
