Coming off the heels of  an award winning debut at the 2013 San Francisco Black Film Festival, Impresa!,  a short, silent film on East African entrepreneurs, has embarked on a summer tour of community screenings throughout the Bay Area. We’ve hosted screenings at the California Historical Society, Trad’r Sam (best tiki bar in town), and are bringing the roadshow to Freespace for an evening of silent film fun. This screening comes right before the 2013 San Francisco Silent Film Festival (July 18-21), so consider Impresa! an appetizer for the awesome that is happening this weekend.
