We are graduates from the Alonzo King LINES Ballet training program where we started collaborating in 2011. We discovered [freespace] in their original opening in 2013. The space became a cohesive platform for our work; allowing us to present ourselves in the raw while providing a unique creative atmosphere.
What separates this process from our others is that it started when we were in two different states. We relied on technology to initiate our communications and exchange our ideas. This was a new challenge for us because we strongly feed off each others presence. In this piece we focus on the exploration of connections and disconnections between humans, humanity, and the intangible.
